Youth Indoor Soccer (Futsal)
This Winter Session, we are working in conjunction with the Hartford Athletic, a professional team within the USL. These fun and interactive clinics will be coached by certified coaches within the organization.
These clinic are a great introduction and continuation of skills to the game of Soccer! Focus is on basic skill development and competitive game experience. Fair play, sportsmanship and FUN are emphasized. Dribbling, passing, shooting, team play and other basic game concepts and rules are highlighted.
In addition to signing up you will receive:
- A YMCA T-shirt will also be given to each player.
- All families that sign up get discounted tickets for HA’s home opener in March and can get post match photos on the field!
Hartford Athletic Dillon's Tots (Ages 2-5) - Winter 2026
*This class will be INDOORS at the Southington YMCA*
This session, we will be working in conjunction with clinics being hosted and coached by coaches of the Hartford Athletic, a professional USL soccer team.
This class features fun, fast-paced drills and activities aimed at our youngest players. 2-3-year-olds will be separated from the 5-year-olds, and parents of the 2-3-year-olds are welcome to be a part of class and join in on the fun.
The focus of this class is on teamwork, basic skill development, and FUN!

Hartford Athletic Player Development Series (Ages 6-9 years) - Winter 2026
*This class will be INDOORS at the Southington YMCA*
In conjunction with the Hartford Athletic and taught by their coaches, this clinic is an opportunity to focus on technical skills, tactics, and participate in fun small-sided games and activities.
This clinic will help players develop their skills, practice teamwork, improve decision-making, communication, positioning, game strategies, and overall game awareness while reinforcing fundamental skills such as passing, dribbling, and shooting in a fun skill-inclusive environment.
