Southington Schools Days Out
Children will participate in several age appropriate activities including outdoor games, contests, sports, arts and crafts and occasional field trips. Please pack a lunch with an ice pack. We do not heat or refrigerate lunches. An afternoon snack will be provided. Please send your child with appropriate attire for indoor/outdoor activities (no open toed shoes; swimsuits/snowsuits if indicated). Children will be divided into groups according to age.
Fun Days @ YMCA
A Fun Day is a full day of childcare at the Main YMCA, when schools are closed! Program runs from 6:30 AM through 5:30 PM. There is no extended care on Fun Days. Please send your child with a lunch (no heat ups please), and weather appropriate clothing! We may additionally attend field trips on various Fun Days. An informational email will be sent to registered families the day before each Fun Day!
Please note, Health Assessment Records (physicals) are required to complete your child’s file before they may attend program. If your child requires any medications such as an inhaler or epinephrine, please contact our School Age Program Directors, Sam Lamkins at [email protected] or Wendy Fisher at [email protected], right away.

Fun Days at Camp Sloper 2025
