At this age level, we will work on more advanced skills, plays and game-play development throughout the session. There will be basketball games and scrimmages each game.

A parent/guardian must join us on the court for this fun and energetic class! Together with your young athlete, you’ll explore the basics of basketball through playful activities that focus on movement, coordination, and FUN. This class emphasizes learning the game while building confidence and spending quality time with your child.

This class is the perfect introduction to basketball for young players! Athletes will learn the beginning fundamentals of dribbling, passing, and shooting in a supportive and exciting environment. The focus is on developing skills, building confidence, and most importantly, having FUN while learning the game.

The Just-Play Basketball program gives participants the chance to build on their skills and grow their understanding of team play. Participants can choose what works best for them and their schedule, practices, games, or both!

Practices at St. Luke’s Catholic School help players strengthen fundamentals in a supportive setting. Practice on October 31st, will get changed to an earlier date.

Games at the Southington YMCA let players experience the excitement of real play and teamwork.

This program is perfect for players who are ready to keep improving while enjoying the fun of basketball in a flexible, player-centered format.
